GLASS TAPES WITH SILANE STARCH

Silane starch is a treatment to which the glass fibre is subjected to give it particular characteristics.
The already starched strands are woven to make a glass tape with the following properties:

  • Greater friction than untreated glass tape
  • Increased impregnation capacity in all processes in which resins or varnishes are used

Due to all these characteristics the Silane glass tape can be used in different fields:

  • Electrotechnical, on superconductors and cables
  • In all sectors where fibreglass supports must be made
  • Rollers and sleeves for flexographic printing
